The hotel is conveniently located in the Kansas City area, offering easy access to shopping while still allowing guests to enjoy the surrounding scenery. The rooms, although fine for a one-night stay, had a slight smell of a smoking room, but were clean and well-stocked. The service from the staff was professional but lacked helpfulness in addressing room change requests. The location, though needing some upkeep and repairs, was nice, especially with transport to and from the airport with no hassles. The dining experience was satisfying, with a well-stocked offering, even though served on Styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. The facilities were adequate, but the hot tub had issues when more than three people used it.
